Post modernism- Jamie Reid, God Save The Queen, 1977

Rebellion against authority, by tearing the features of the Queen out and replacing them with Sex Pistol lyrics, portrays the punk movement at the time and is still a very iconic image, an appropriate design for 1977.
Modernist design-
San serif text, modern, simplistic, block, bold, eye catching colours used, basic design, clean lines, basic shapes.
