After receiving crit feedback we decided to take one of the suggestions on board and create a concept for a big fashion event taking place in Rome, Milan and Florence. This event will be a catwalk fashion show to launch the new range of Ted Baker A/W 2013 collection. This gives us the opportunity to create invitations and letterheads for it as part of the design. I have started looking at other fashion shows/events to get a better idea of who and what i'm creating for.
H&M IN PARIS: A/W 2013 COLLECTION
The HM debut at the Paris fashion week has just one aim: the guests must feel at home, free to relax and have fun after a very intense day among fashion shows and happenings.
An unexpected surprise: the meeting that the brand "that everyone can afford" has given in this fairy 70s apartment in Paris, that peeped out in one of the most beautiful museum of Paris, as by magic; who doesn’t dream of entering a house in the middle of the Rodin garden? Anna Dello Russo, Garance Doré, Emanuelle Alt and many more were attending it.
No detail is left to chance, George Cortina for the styling, Michel Gaubert for the music (fashion music man of the maisons Chanel, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Lacroix etc...) and the perfect guest: a casting of models that is worthy of the most international catwalks, where Cara Delevingne, Isabeli Fontana, Arizona Muse have walked the catwalks by moving among the fabulous house rooms.
MARNI FRAGRANCE
Quirky and blessed with a unique and sophisticated allure: these are the traits of the Marni fragrance’s muse developed byConsuelo Castiglioni in collaboration withEstée Lauder.
For the launch party right at the opening of the New York Fashion Week, the designer has chosen the charm – and the music – of Alexa Chung. Clad in Marni head-to-toe, the It-girl enlivened the event hosted within the Marni boutique that, for the occasion, was “dressed” with the fragrance’s notes: subtle hints of ginger and patchouli.

LONDON FASHION WEEK
TED BAKER
I looked at some examples of Ted Baker events:
Ted’s Spring/Summer ’13 Sneak Preview
Last week, Ted took great pride in hosting his seasonal sneak preview of the upcoming Spring collections: a highlight in his calendar designed to share collection highlights, insider secrets & an all-round enjoyable day with friends & Ted family visiting from all around the globe.
This season’s campaign for SS13 is, appropriately, Ted’s Finishing School. On arrival at the rather quaint school style hall guests were greeted by Ted’s ‘Headmistress’ calling out helpful hints regarding posture and conduct! They were also treated to a less demanding refreshment of mulled wine and hot chocolate.
OPENING OF TED BAKER COLLECTION IN BERLIN
Last month marked the opening of Ted’s menswear and womenswear collections in KaDeWe, Berlin.
To celebrate, Ted hosted an exciting launch event in store last Saturday where shoppers were treated to victoria sponges, cucumber sandwiches, scotch eggs and celebratory bubbly, as well as complimentary gifts.
This month has also seen the launch of Ted’s menswear and womenswear collections in Alsterhaus, Hamburg and Oberpollinger, Munich. Be sure to pop by and check out the AW12 collections!
TED BAKER KNIGHTSBRIDGE
Ted’s brass band were quite the spectacle marching up and down Brompton Road playing a score of British favourites. In side customers were treated to a Victorian banquet of scotch eggs, hearth sandwiches and bakewell tarts washed down with traditional Victorian lemonade and Tedtini cocktails.
